Studio IX is a creative enterprise located
in the Baltimore/Washington metropolitan area.

Since 1992, Studio IX has provided services to clients & design creatives including photography, digital imaging & illustration, print & web design, software/hardware consultation & professional training, color and digital asset management [DAM] solutions.

Randy Morgan [the core of Studio IX], has been teaching semester-length courses and workshops at the Maryland Institute College of Art, Towson University and at Montgomery College School of Art & Design as an expert in digital imaging, photography and graphic design since 1995.

Taught with a nuts & bolts, hands-on approach, classes feature software such as Adobe's Creative Suite [Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Dreamweaver & Flash] and QuarkXPress.

Towson University
Semester-length Lecture

After a two-year interlude, Randy Morgan of Studio IX has developed a new course for entry level photography majors with Professor Haig Janian, chair of the Department of Photographic Imaging at Towson University. ART 325 Photo Imaging: Creative Workflow is the brand new foundation course for all newly declared photography majors and will introduce students to the art of photographic imaging and digital asset management. Students will be working with DSLR cameras and professional level applications, most notably, Adobe® Lightroom® 3.
